Roses smell nice and diamonds look great.
Have you had to ask yourself which you would prefer as a gift? I would definitely go for diamonds – I hear they last forever.
I also hear they get beat up a lot too.
They are born into hiding but when they are found; their master put them under severe heat and say its purification. They are taken from one level of heating to another. I always want to imagine that they cry their eyes out and that they would probably start calling on their creator for help. Some might even curse their creator for how can one be so cruel to allow this great pain befall them.
The end is not seen, the now is despised, tomorrow is only but a dream that may come or not.
I have had to own my process – it’s usually not fun but in the end it’s always worth it. Are there days I hear the loud rancorous busy body voice in my head appeal to me to give up? Yes! Yes and Yes!
Rick Warren, a famous friend of mind once said “transformation is a process, and as life happens there are tons of ups and downs. It’s a journey of discovery – there are moments on mountaintops and moments in deep valleys of despair.
Our journey will not always be smooth. A girl will break your heart, a boy will cheat on you, your parents will lie to you, your friends will betray you, life will happen in varying degrees and you will be awarded with a medal of honor or maybe not. How do you wake up and live again, trust again, and love again?
Many things will battle for attention to be crowned as your ‘defining moment’.
Tears will become like water fall on your face. You will feel weak and ready to let go.
But there’s actually more to life – ‘the end’. It is all that count. You ‘now’ is a ‘testimony’ of your forever.
There is always hope for ‘forever’ and a love that endures ‘forever’.
Please hold on. You are enroute to the city of diamonds – you may be crowned king there someday.
Journey through it – I call it faith.
